Essential Oils: Enhanced Hormone Penetration of the Skin 精油：增強皮膚滲透荷爾蒙激素

A number of clinical studies have shown that essential oils greatly enhance the ability of hormones and other medical products to penetrate the skin and enter the blood stream. Studies conducted at in 2002 found that essential oils such as cajuput, cardamom, melissa, myrtle, niaouli, and orange, containing essential oil chemical constituents such as 1,8-cineole, alpha-pinene, alpha-terpineol, and d-limonene, boosted estradiol hormone penetration through the skin and into the blood and body tissues.
A 1996 study at the China Pharmaceutical University in similarly found a dramatic increase in drug absorption using formulations with eucalyptus and peppermint essential oils.
